About the Blog

As the name of our blog suggest, this blog will essentially be focusing on the Urban Landscape of San Fernando. So much focus has always been on the nation's Capital Port of Spain neglecting what happens in the Trinidad's only other city: San Fernando. We will be trying to take a holistic view on the spaces and city form and function of this city. We will be touching on the brief history of the city,  public space and realm, inner-city neighbourhoods, suburban / sub node, gentrification through development, the changing land use and physical landscape, homelessness and the livability of the city.
